Partition Magic 8.0

Last Friday, Francie and I bought a copy of Symantec Partition Magic 8.0. The reason for that is to make a sepreate partion on the new laptops and pc's that come in so we can create a backup image on the second partion. I tested it on a Dell Latitude D600, had just the one partition and successfully split it into two partitions with the second being the backup partition. I was worried about loosing the data from the c:\ partition but I didn't. I made a backup image on the second partition and successfully loaded the image. Now I feel good about splitting the partition when I get a new laptop or pc for the backup image.
